About Garlands of Grace

It was envisioned by Joann Jordan in the year 2000 as conferences for women, but it began with small studies. Three ladies coming together to study "Becoming a Woman of Prayer," by author Cynthia Heald. Each week we would meet to study God's Word and to pray for each other's needs. As we started including and inviting other women to the study, we grew and expanded. What began with three, now has become many with twelve in each group. We continue to pray that we will be used to enrich, encourage, and support the women who attend these small group studies.
From this group of women came our Day Conferences, with our first conference in 2002 with national author and teacher Elizabeth George. Since then we have had the privilege of having some of the most delightful speakers on the circuit today, and the women have been blessed and enriched in their spiritual walks. Many women attend these conferences and make a life-time commitment to Jesus Christ. They are discipled by the studies and encouraged to attend a local Bible-teaching church of their choice. We have truly seen God give these wonderful women a new heart, new way of thinking and a new spirit. Garlands of Grace is a useful vessel that the Lord uses to touch the hearts and the lives of all women, in various stages of their walk.
We are women of faith who trust in Christ!
There are no barriers, we cross all denominational and nationalities and ages to tell the Good News of Christ.
We pray that women will be changed by the Word, through studies and teachings at the Conferences.
Mission Statement:
To teach the Word of God at weekly Bible Studies.(CITW)
Vision Statement:
To reach women of all faiths with unity and love. Women teaching women,
one heart at a time.
Faith Statement:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired authoritative Word of God. We
believe there is only one God, in three persons, Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. We believe in the virgin birth, in Christ's sinless life, His
death on the cross, His resurrection, His ascension and His return for
us, His church. We believe in the unity of believers.
